What do you guys think i should buy from one of eGO's sponsors? (BTW is there like a secret code for eGO members when purchasing from one of our sponsors?:D) Should i get Velocity Micro ?berclok or CyberPower or like Dell or something else. I'm looking for an affordable gaming DESKTOP. Gimme some feedback please, thanks!

You should buy Uberclock, no question about it.
IF you get a dell, prepare to return it the next day. [Made in China]
 
I wrote that on my windows phone. Also, if you look at my post count, I post ALOT.

You guys just can't see them all.

Now for computer buying.....

I would start off by calling Thomas at Uberclok and talk to him about laptops. He is helpful and friend. Since he is a systems integrator, he will have some advice for you even if he doesn't have a laptop that meets your needs.

John is right... they look solid. Or if you know ANYONE who knows how to build a computer well then try and order all the parts separate on Newegg (they always have good deals) But if you dont want to hassle and take that route... Uberclok has some of the best gaming rigs on the market for a good price.
 
I agree, UberClok or CyberPower PC.
If you're looking to build one, I would use newegg.

well you cant build a laptop.
and the trouble with a gaming laptop is when gaming you get about 1 hour battery life.
and 6 months down the road you need a new one cause new games come out and new shader models.
my boy got a nice aleinware i tried to warn him,but 8 months later he couldnt play newer games cause his card didnt support the newest shader models

i like alienware, but they are sorta expensive. so if u kno wat ur doin build it yourself :)

You will always get more bang for the buck with a desktop over a laptop. I would suggest building it -- doing quite a bit of research before hand, it's a great learning process. A affordable gaming laptop imo is kind of an oxymoron. If you want to game for a decent price, either build a desktop or buy an uberclock. Stay away from Alienware laptops -- it could have been a one off event, but I've had a friend with _terrible_ experiences with his alienware laptop. The other advantage of a desktop is that it's highly upgradeable. You can pop in a larger hdd, more ram, and most importantly a newer graphics card very easily. You can get a great desktop, a nice big monitor, and all the accessories you'll need (keyboard, nice mouse, some sweet turtle beach headphones/mic, etc.) for easily less than the price of a decent gaming laptop.
 
build it yourself, if a single part is bad you can send it back and get a new one or just upgrade or what have you and not worry about a warranty.
 
Build it yourself...if you can or you're willing to learn. Otherwise, Uberclock, CyberPower, or Velocity Micro.

Since you're wanting a laptop, things get trickier. And never, ever associate the word 'affordable' with 'gaming laptop'. Your best bet is to build your own with the OCZ barebone notebook kits. Those will make you fairly happy. If you don't know how to put them together, I'm sure one of us eGO geeks can help you.
 
Don't buy Alienware=Dell which you get custom support in Thailand. Dell support is horrible unless your in for ride you can get Alienware you should just build a computer yourself unless your looking for a good laptop i would go with Gateway and Asus or what ever you want just don't get Alienware
