Steam gave me refunds!??!

i read something about this on the steam forum, i will look for it.
i will edit the post if i find it :)

Also, if the email asks for your username and password, it's fake as well.

Remember, Valve has access to all of your account information, so they don't need such things.

E-mail addresses can be spoofed.

What he said.

Check the entire email for substance, like others said, do they request information from you ? Are they asking directly for billing information ?

If so these are all RED FLAGS.

if they ask you to give them any info it's a scam. I suggest tracking the IP; if its a scam the IP will likely be in russia or africa or some other odd locale.

I demand a image of the page to specify it :\
my hack got my account (the 1 i use now) from tunisai

The best solution to this is, if you get the refunds without input, it's legit...

that looks authentic, but as dominion said, email addresses can be spoofed.. if it asks for info of any sort, it's a fake, if it doesn't, just check to see if your games are still playable, if they aren't, then maybe you need to re-purchase them, tho i've never heard of something like that before.. Just to make sure, contact Steam as to what you should do!

But my account is disabled, so are my other 3 and 2 of my friends, i cant even get on

then it's probably authentic.. have u tried enquiring from them about ur account?

wierd

thats really wierd try e-mailing them back if you can tos ee whats going on and if they ask for info just ignore them or mark the e-mail as phishing scam
