office and spawn camping

this is just something i noticed tonight while hitting up the office server and im having trouble figuring it out by myself

on the dust server admins go to very long lengths to discourage terrorist spawn camping....the logic here being that they have to capture a bombsite and the bombsite certainly isnt at spawn

however on the office server cts are allowed to camp spawn in large numbers without a word being said...i just figured that the hostages arent in spawn and they should be encouraged to get them

now if the rules are just the rules and cts are allowed to spawn camp i can follow the rules but i just cant figure this one out

yea they should put "cts must be at hosties before 1:00"

War is neither glamorous nor fun. There are no winners, only losers. There are no good wars, with the following exceptions: The American Revolution, World War II, and the Star Wars Trilogy.

it must of just been something occuring earlier tonight because I have seen them remind ct's. Now that beng said, if there is a big Trush through the garage and the CT's are trying to hold them off, that is not camping, they have a right to defend so the t's don't simply come up behind them and wipe them all out. and usually that is what you will see. the t's rushing every round and teh ct's haveing enough of that and create a blockade in garage. Even if tht is the case, eventually they have to make a move to attempt the rescue. If you see a ct just sitting in the sniper rooms the whole round then that is camping and in my opinion, after several warnings that player should be slapped then slayed if it continues, but I don't believe I've ever seen anyone slayed here.

However the round starts at 2:15 or 2:30 which is 45 - 60 seconds that the CTs can defend which is usually how long the Ts rush is so they dont need to sit in there longer than that.

Only Advisors and above have slap / slay / commands.

ok fair enough, ive only recently started playing more office so i must have just not been on at the same time as competent admins, but now at least i know there is a rule in place

thanks guys

from what i have seen ct's forget to even try and get the hostages quite often, however i think it should be okay to turn around and try to stop the rush of t's through ct's spawn behind the ct's trying to make it to the hostages. also just a side note i have gotten all four hostages and made it to the hostage area with only 33 seconds left in the round and i made it with only 1 second to spare. so in reality they should be at the hosties around 1 min to 45 seconds before the round is up

i do think the excessive spawn camping by the ct's needs to stop though there has been alot of people camping LONG bunker and sniping the t's coming around the big dumpster,

one thing about today also was the ct's had lost 17 games straight badly when i showed up and they were all camping which i really dont think is that big of a deal

this is just a suggestion but perhaps the slap and slay commands should be at least be given to regular eGOs....on servers i have played on in the past ive found that slaying seems to be the MOST effective way to prevent camping on both bomb and hostage maps

the main reason most people shy away from an objective is to save money/guns so if they know that they will be slayed if they dont at least show they are trying for objective then they will not camp.....there would never be any cts living unless they won the map

some admin had this motto on a server i used to play at "Go for the bomb or die trying"

hostages could be inserted for bomb in this case

most ct's i think can't go for the t's when there's many playing is camping side hall (think thats the name) and going for garage wich makes it pretty impossible.
if you dont go para like me=)
