Always Freezing TF2

My TF2 seems to have an issue---tons of the times I connect to a server, when I get into the server and see our Uberclok advertisement page or whatever it is at the time my game just won't respond. I hear the same repeated sound that happened at the instant it froze. And I can't click the OK button to continue into the game and play.

Got any ideas on what is wrong or how to fix it? I think it might be an issue with something because it crashes literally 1/3 times or somthing.

I think it might be hogging to much ram or something. Try not doing too much in the background.

All right, I got it fixed. I had to defrag my TF2, and verify the files. I fixed this with the help of Blackmesasouth Thanks!
