Which TF did you come from?

I know most of you know Team Fortress as the half life game but I knew it as a young teen on mplayer playing it as a sub game for Quake 1 wondering if anyone shares the same background.

I was all about the half life version back when it first was released.

Before I built a computer for that, I had to play Quake on a P100 with the screen size reduced to a 3x3 inch window on my screen for some reason. ic an't remember why...

I do remember Fallout 2 just coming out though at that same time... Played for 3 nights straight without going to class

for me it was TFC.

Ah good times. My friends and I would camp out in my basement and play 5 on 5 tfc and then play half-life deathmatch.

I came to TF2 having previously played TF2.

I came from TFC and I waited a good 10 years before TF2 came out.

I played in Quake days. Didn't play much during half-life. But, my favorite was Quake 1 Rocket Arena.

I've only played TF2. I once had an opportunity to get TFC but I think I bought Doom II or one of the Quakes or something else instead. I don't know, I was somewhat little back then

man, i was living in africa at the time, and we would get all the network guys from the different compounds together, take over one of the offices, and play games all weekend, ahhh, good times.

I came from the old Quake version. Haven't played any of them since that one though. I do so love that they finally made pyros worth playing.

Hell, I haven't even played any online games since 2005 up until last month. (Had the worst internet in the world for gaming: satellite)
