i only have a pineapple on my sig because i wrote a ~3 paragraph essay to fluffy, i didnt think all this would happen, i thought it was all something for fun, but i am not in anyway related to siding with the pineapple or grapefruit, lemme repeat for those that dont read NOT RELATED to this whole war ordeal

...I can't believe I'm saying this.

Let's look at it logically. What does a grapefruit have going for it?

It's a melon. The outside is soft and mushy. You cut it in half and have to cut out the stringy bitter fruit. Then you are left with a mushy soft rind.

A pineapple is structurally sound. It's armored with spiny leaves, plus when you core out the fruit, you can juice the fruit and use the pineapple as a drink container.

It's also a pretty good weapon to have around. Anyone sneaks up, you can brain him with the pineapple and he's down for the count.

With a grapefruit, the most you can do is hope that you can squirt the juice in his eye.

Pineapples all the way!

Oh sure, put a 1/4" of sugar on almost anything - slice of cactus for instance - and you can eat that too. Pineapple doesn't need sugar cloaking. It can be eaten and enjoyed all by itself. All hail the mightly pineapple. Pina colada's for everyone!
