Oh sure, put a 1/4" of sugar on almost anything - slice of cactus for instance - and you can eat that too. Pineapple doesn't need sugar cloaking. It can be eaten and enjoyed all by itself. All hail the mightly pineapple. Pina colada's for everyone!

Ya, we're having fun with it. Sort of a last grand gasp at the end of the summer

Then we will gather all the grapefruit and watermelons, pack them in a snow drift and preserve them in a frozen state until spring.
