Steam "My Control Panel" Won't Load

[A Nurse from Texas]

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere already. I did search. This has been going on for a couple of weeks. When I click "My Control Panel" on my steam friends list, it won't load. The page remains blank and the icon spins for infinity. Same when I right click on steam in my taskbar to go to Store or Community. To view my steam stats or accept invites, I have to go to the actual community web site. I just keep it open all the time in firefox. Very annoying. Kept thinking some update would eventually fix it. Not. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
