Hey guys, this is LCpl. Klassen [BlackWatch]

I play in your guys and gals servers in dods just about everyday, and every =(e)=, =(eG)=, and =(eGO)= member I have met has been great. You all are a great bunch of people but there is one member I have a problem with now.

I was in your dod_donner server tonight for 5 hours having a great, waiting to get sniper all night long, and after the 5 hours, finally a guy named "Chalmer" said he would switch off sniper, so I can have it. we both got ready, and he said ok now take it... and the person who got it was =(eGO)= Fuast something... so obviously this guy was sitting there spamming 4 when he heard Chalmer say I could take it...

Seriously I love playing in your servers... but that's just plain out rude. I have never met one =(eGO)= member who would ever do something like that before until tonight.

well sorry, i appologize. it has happened to me aswell. but i dont pay attention to it its easier to just pick up random weapons lol.
but i am sorry he did that

I agree that was rude.

Limited classes seems to be an inherent source of bad behavior. Still, I do prefer to play on maps without sixteen enemy snipers. You should see TF2 now. Half the players are scouts because the novelty hasn't worn off yet.

Next time you can't get a weapon you like you might try random class. You have no input as to what you're playing but eventually you play everything.

The other option is to hunt down an enemy sniper and take his weapon. That would give you bragging rights for quite a while if you could bring it off.

I hope this does not happen to you again.

It doesn't matter how good a person is. It should not give them precedence for a restricted class. If a person is good with the sniper and it is not their turn they should play rifleman and wait their turn.

When you noticed that you have had a restricted class for a long time. Give it up. Everyone should have a chance.

It is a game.

Share the toys in the sandbox children and no pushing in line. Don't make me give you a time out.

I think I read somewhere there was going to be a time limit for restricted classes? Is this true?

And yes it sucks when somebody pops in and takes weapon you been waiting for just as it sucks when person hogs restricted weapon for 5 hours

Sniping on Kalt.. Doesn't work all that well. Too many places to be flanked and its too close quarters. Unless your defending you really can only snipe right out in the open.

well ur not the only one who wants to play sniper class, so u just have to be enough fast ofc its a bit rude if some1 takes ur class just front of ur nose but theres times u can get sniper easy, and times u gotta wait few hours for it

hmmm... maybe his sound was not working, and he did not hear you!! lol.. Im not defending anybody, there just has to be a logical explanation for that Admins behavior! Or maybe he thought it would not go this far!! idk

I myself have yet to meet an e eG eGO that has been rude or anything so this bothers me to hear that someone did that.

Hopefully the person can appoligize to you ingame some day.

As for sniping, I would say most will give you the sniper weapon if they have had it for a few maps and you ask for it.

In the case for yourself that is what happened but someone else took it. That is rude and I hope you took it on the chin. The next time that happens, let them know in a polite way that you were waiting and asked for it. Alot of others do wait but don't ask. <-- am I repeating myself lol just ask and most of the time its a done deal

Restricted classes are not something you can call dibs on. Moment the class is open its free game to any one so when some says "sniper open", start spamming 4.
On a side note I do agree it was not nice but it was likely to happen sometime.
