Hey everyone, I would really appreciate any help I could get with this. I am encountering some serious difficulty with my headset. I bought a Logitech gaming headset from the mall here and it worked great! The problem is now it doesnt. I dont know why. One day the mic just wouldn't work on it. the earphones work fine still. Its brand new and for about a month I had no problems with it. So I decide I would uninstall the sound driver and reinstall them from the web. That didn't do anything, but now I have two sound icons in my bottom right tray window. One is for realtek (I guess that's the audio manufacturer) the other one is the default volume thing for windows. Now if i disable or enable anything i have to do it on both and sometimes doing it on one will change the other. Anyway... I am able to use my webcam mic (sometimes) as a mic and i've been content with that, but I've just had it with this. Should I uninstall Realtek HD Audio Manager? Don't know if this matters but i'm using an hdmi cable for my LCD TV that I use as the monitor and I also have a special wire that allows me to have the sound from the comp go into the TV, but I only use that for movies not so much gaming. That wire runs from the back of the comp to the TV and my headset is plugged into the front of the comp. PLEASE HELP!

I had a problem with my mic on vista, but all I did was uninstall Logitech driver/Logitech SetPoint and it worked afterwards. Hope I sparked an idea.
