hack?

Some perosn with the stream name "Automated Authentication" wants me to do a "file scan" and E-mail stream the information...Anyone have any ideas if this is a hack attement and besides what is a file scan?

Yeah, its a scam. Ignore it, don't email anything. Delete the person from your friends list or email.

Good to know that I wasn't paradio about this. Also I want to point out that I was conacted thou stream, not an e-mail. Claiming something like that my accout was claimed to be hacked. I'm 99% sure they would use e-mail instead of instance messages.

Aye companies have access to your account info so they have no need to ask, valve made a news announcement about it last week i think but i can't find it.
