CS:S Settings Question

i would re-install. i dont know how you can regain those files. sorry

try this \Steam\SteamApps\yourname\counter-strike\cstrike\config.cfg

Copy it to your desktop just as a backup, and delete it from the cstrike folder. When you next start CSS it'll make a new CFG file - but you'll have to change most of the custom settings back to how they were before. this is like the settings ik it doesnt sound right but that fixed an odd audio setting for me worth a shot

Yeah, re-install would definitely work. Just make sure you backup the CFG folder so you don't need to re-bind everything all over again.
