So are any of you eGO's RTS fans or do you all only know how to run and shoot, Empire Total war is going to blow my mind when i get it, they actually programmed the AI to use the same tactics as the Generals of the 1700-1800's
it sounds amazing, what are your thoughts, opinions, facts
 
The demo completely messed up on me; So I'm waiting for the verdict of other people before I consider buying it.
 
I played the demo & im in love with it, however my wallet disagrees with me & wont lemme get it, lol

The naval battle on the demo is what sold me. So as soon as I can muster some cast I'll have to get me a copy
 
I bought this game about 4 months ago whenever you could prepurchase it and get Rome Total War for nothing... and I still haven't installed it yet :-x
 
My game finished installing a few hours ago... so far its awesome.

Feels like other total war games, except its in a time period I am much more interested in.

I have seen a lot of bugs, and have had some crashing so far, hope they release a patch soon.

Either way, great game, gonna take some time to get accustomed to the road to independance mode first, then tackle the main campaign before heading into online games.
 
Rome: Total War is one of my favorite games. As it has already been said I love the time period that Empire: Total War is in so I plan on checking it out.

The demo was a little sluggish on my laptop so I'm somewhat anxious. I think I'm going to get it anyways and not worry about it.
 
Ya the Total War demo was interesting to say the least. It's a serious change from other games of it's type.
Recommend everyone at least try's it at some point.
 
Just a small side note about the game...I just bought it at Best Buy and for getting at Best Buy you get an exclusive unit: OLD IRONSIDES!

That's right, you get the U.S.S. Constitution. This is cool to me because last fall I actually had the pleasure of touring this very ship. It was such an honor.
 
Yeah I'm a little frustrated right now. I bought a hard copy of it so I wouldn't have to deal with it running through STEAM. Don't get me wrong I don't hack or use cheats to play or anything like that.

Now it has installed but I can't play it because STEAM is updating it...and that update is going really slow. It even canceled once on me. Apparently it can't play without the update either...which makes me wonder why I waited through two DVD's of installation.

So yeah I'm a little frustrated that I bought a hard copy of it to avoid the problems it sprung on me anyways. At least I'll have the Constitution...if I even play as the U.S.
 
I liked the demo but its kind of hard to move your troops around and in naval battle i always get confused which ship im controlling and there is too much ragdoll on the sails.I may consider getting tho.I will have to see the reviews on it and watch youtube vids of people actually playing the full version.

The demo wouldn't work for me. It tried loading, then puked up on my screen. Nothing fixed it. Oh well.
 
Total War-Empires multiplayer is a fantastic experience. We had a 4v4 lastnight and was amazing. Took about 3hrs to coordinate and play....definitely worth the waiting.
