Chrome and Mozilla help plox

Well i tried to get on mozilla earlier today, and it started to update. But it wouldnt update, it just keep going, then ending saying it wouldnt work, then trying to update again. So i just uninstalled, figured this would be a good time to get chrome, because i had been wanting too. I tried to download chrome but an error message kept comming up. I tried to download mozilla again, and it would all go good untill it started extracting. Then it would get to 33% on extracting then just stop all together. Not even an error message. Halp plox.

Sounds like it would possibly just be fixed by restarting your computer.
If not I would recommend using a restore point to go back before you uninstalled Firefox and maybe try the update again.

Ya i tried to restart my computer. And then download again but it still did the same thing. And whats a restore point, sorry, never heard that term before.

a restore point is when at start up before it gets the XP loader u press f8 i think and u go to start at last known system something

Theres an Application called "System Restore" which is for restoring your computer to a earlier time. Its very useful if something goes wrong, so basically its like your Undo button for Windows. Go to:

Click Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

There are directions inside, but just click a day that everything was working fine. Also, what OS are you using? XP, Vista, or W7? Chrome only works on Vista as of now (Without some file tampering)

Hopefully you have the computer set up to save restore points on a regular basis.
My computer does at least 1 restore point per day, just in case.
