Steam Pwned me?

Hey everyone I was hoping you guys can help me out here. I think it was yesterday we were playing in the highschool server. Well out of nowhere my steam starts to disconnect and reconnect. It was really crazy. I believed it happened to a lot of players in game. I know at least Darius and Avion experienced the same problem. The console started to kick players from the game for not having a valid steam id logon. Or something similar to that.

any info on what was going on?

It has been happening to all of us. I think its the servers. It has been happening alot in that server and it is getting quite annoying

Well I didnt know if it was the servers. I thought it was possible that something was wrong with steam. But now that I know its just the servers then it should be an easy fix. xD

Its a problem with the steam servers if your getting kicked for an invalid steamid.

I know exactly what you are talking about, happened to me about four times in a row. I asked someone and they said to just exit steam and restart it...i did it and it hasn't happened since

I think it is because it sends info. about your steam id so fast it can skip somehting. that is why it does that. never happened to me. hope you can figure it out

Steam did it to me but in a different way, I signed up for beta testing on my account, to tryout cool new stuff. Well I logged in one day and all my friends and groups were gone, no avatar and my name said unnamed... Or it was my friend, and he wanted my to think it was steam

What actually happens is someone that works ate Valve Throws a dice to see how many people will get kicked. Then does it again to see if u get kicked. You were all unlucky -_-.
