I was just wondering if stats were going to get reset sometime? i think it would b a good idea since its so hard to keep your points up when u are ranked high because anyone lower than u will take like 25 points away

Haha.. i was thinking the same thing! but then i relized that some one that just started to play DoDS should not be killing me! So i got smart( For some reason i got PRO with the sniper in Flash, I think i finally learend to watch my back and in two days I got my point position from 4,556(3,500pt. around there) to 2,156(5,001pt.)! Its the best feeeling! Now i usally am 30 kills above my death.. EX. K.50/D.20

i think they should be reset each year to give everyone a chance at being a higher rank
and every year the #1,#2,#3 player should each get an award! that would be awsome lol.

The HLStats system is more useful as an administrative tool, having data that dates back farther is more important than who is #1 during that period.

I found best way to get points is to turn off display of stats in game, makes you play better since your not worried about points so much and they dont distract you

To turn off:

type HLX press 9 for next then press Console Events and Disable

yea...i dont wanna see it refreshed....it should stay how it is....i was at one point ranked 20th...but now im wavering between 90-110 all the time...I ts still good of course....but now all i really care about is just playing....I went 100-38 earlier and like lost 100 points...so....theres really nothing I could do to bring it up anyway....worrying about stats really will just make you frustrated in the long run
