png to vtf

Hey

Does anyone know a good program for me to convert a png file to a vtf? I'm trying to make a transparent spray using paint.net so, if you have a good recommendation, i would appreciate it. Thanks,

don't you just import it (in w/e source game you want to play) and voila?

i edit it in paint.net, which makes png files, and when i try to import in css, its not there, so i need some sort of program that can convert to a vtf file so i could pull it out.

CSS used PNGs and you don't need to make it a VTF. Thats only for 1.6...

Ur still wrong. It's not a VTF file.
Its a TGA file.
At least when you do it in photoshop it is. Sry if I'm wrong. No need to get mad at me again.

... When was the last time you checked your CS:S folder? VTF files are the final converted stuff, no matter which image you import. Its like importing an image without being ingame and doing the options.
