It is irritating as hell when there are several dispensers next to each other. My ears are bleeding.

I did this as well (with "Fuel" by Metallica) and it is awesome. I don't have a super computer, so it lags my game the very first time I build a dispenser (or when I near someone else's dispenser) after loading TF2. As they said on FPSB, it takes place of this low pitch humming that the dispenser gives out, and that is, in all practicality, inaudible. I would highly recommend it, and it only takes a couple of minutes.

As Woodstock said, choosing the song is the most difficult part.

Yes, I'll admit the video on FSPB is a rickroll, sort of. It really is a video about how the dispenser radio will act in game; sound quality, volume affected by distance, etc. But when he gets his dispenser built and Rick Astley starts playing; well, it took me a second not to recognize the song, but to realize what had just happened to me. After that I was in tears I was laughing so hard.

And then I saw Gortex' video...so now I'm in tears again.

that's hilarious. score one for creativity... i love community developers. i'd never play anywhere with that actually implemented, though. when you give the general public access to force content on each other, it always ends up be scatological in the worst case or mind-searingly annoying in the best case. see any of about a million banned sprays for good examples.

Yes it is client-side only, however, a server can do the same thing and force it upon everyone in the server.
