Soilwork - Swedish Melodic Death Metal

That is, of course, prior to Ola Frenning leaving the band late last year. That man is a genius on the guitar! Henry Ranta left in 2003. They were here in KC last week, and I'm told the show left a lot to be desired. They were amazing the previous three times I saw them, so I'm glad I didn't go this time; I'd hate to have been disappointed.

Rock and metal...Metallica ('80s stuff FTW), Rammstein, Eisbrecher, Eric Clapton, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Rage Against the Machine, System of a Down, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Slayer etc., just to name a few in no particular order other than Metallica at the top.

Metal, Alt., rock, reggae, hip-hop / rap, orchestral, symphonic, the list goes on.

Everything BUT country. (Save one or two actually good artists who sing about things other than their woman leaving them, their dog dying, and their truck getting stolen.)

Mostly trance, but I do enjoy the occasional drum n bass & some hard rock, even tho I used to be really heavy into hard rock/heavy metal back in the day.

I listen to everything, really.

Except Country, the only Country I tolerate is Johnny Cash. Death Metal and any kind of metal with excessive screaming to me is trash.

:]
