Student creates Counter-Strike map of school, gets kicked out of school

this reminds me of something really lame that happened where i live recently.
A guy robbed a house stole a car and crashed the car on the same street when he was asked why he did it he said he thought he was in grand theft auto...
that's really believable eh?
 
pathetic. ya know thats why games have the ESRB rating and have minimum ages. beyond that is now the parenting that can regulate if a kid plays or not.

Anyway, I always thought it would be fun to play on a map of a REAL school, but I fail at map making so I never tried to do it. Plus, after this, I think I'll just stick to the Highschool map..(Seems most of you think the same)

Yeah, I wouldn't make a map of a real school for a shooting game these days. It's just playing with fire.
 
Well I think it was wrong for kicking the poor guy.... I believe map creation to be a form of art, its like kicking davinci for painting the mona lisa. I think sometimes they take it way too far... I would think in fact it would be a channel to release his anger and frustration, driving him further from harm... Oh well...

Ok.... map making is a skill.....but seriously? The mona lisa? Why compare it to that???? Video games are 100% lame and sucky art compared to that.

it is kinda ridiculous. my school would be boring nothn to do but it would be cool getting on the water towers then onto the gym

Man I saw this on the news.
I feel it was bull.

I personally have made well over 50+ maps of different areas I've been around, including my own former Caney Creek High School.
Its rather pitiful now and days these morons pin everything on video games.
Someone gets shot and they see Gears of war, and blame it on that

They did it with Mortal Kombat.
And this as well as others.
And it seems the idiots have no reasons but to blame children's violence on the things they enjoy.

I felt sorry for this kid, rather unfair he got suspended and though no evidence was found to say he was trying anything violent in reality they punished him.

I remember this.
This happened in the same town/county as me.
Fort Bend ISD is the school district i was in when i was in elementary school.
 
that is to funny, kids at my school wanted to make a L4D map of my school, i think they will rethink the idea before they are discovered.
 
Hmm, I think that is like against the law to kick someone out of school for that. ?
