M1 or K98k?

I think K98k is more accurate and powerful. Plus you can get trigger happy with M1...Axis Grenadier all the way

i agree about the k98 ftw ... however a great m1 player is really tough ... if u miss with the k98 then u have a good chance of gettin screwed ... whereas missing is not nearly as big of a deal with the m1 ... i just dont think u can beat the 1 shot 1 kill of the k98 (ignoring the headshots with the m1)

Both do equally well in the game ... the K98k kills on any hit but a limb, while a smart M1 Rifle user will double tap all his targets to ensure the kill. The drawback on the K98k, as (IO)SA says, is if you miss the delay while chambering another round. The drawback on the M1 Rifle? Everyone near you knows when its time for you to load more ammo.

i dont remember the bayonet by name, but i loved the old DOD rifles also. I never liked the M1...but i gotta try the double tap technique

if only the k98 was a semi-auto (no bolt action) and still retain it's bolt action accuracy. wait a minute, that's like the k43 if only they had kept that weapon in source...

A Garand hit square in the chest of your enemy does 95dmg. and they prolly aren't going to have 100 health it will likely kill them. so, you got pretty much a semi-auto one hit kill rifle. If you know what your doing the Garand is the best gun in the game.
