Preferred music for cs sourcing

All I listen to is thrash metal (Slayer, Exodus, Testament, Metallica). Get's you moving fast, and makes me concentrate more.

Favorite song to listen is: War Zone - Slayer
 
Music in tactical games do not mix with the affects of footsteps around corners.
 
bleh, I say it's how loud your music is and what type it is.

I have a iTunes playlist just for CSS. I like techno and hard rock for css. It puts me in to mood.
 
Country is great for CS:S, nothing better to pass the time than some relaxing music and fragging. That, and I like jazz electronica (or maybe it's the other way around...) ie. Clazziquai (Korean) and The Bird and the Bee (US, maybe UK).
 
I don't know about you guys, but it's extremely difficult for me to listen to music and play CS at the same time. I can only do that with games that are less reliant on sound :)

Actually, in a normal game I won't listen to music, but if i'm just deathmatching or gungaming, then I will. I like old metal and rock. Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Rush, Led Zeppelin. I also enjoy newer bands of varying genres. Coheed and Cambria, The Faint, Daft Punk, Freezepop, Mindless Self Indulgence, so on. And to fully secure my place in nerdome, I have quite a few anime and video game soundtracks. They're mostly ambienty though. Can't really stand J-Pop. Those include Berserk, FLCL, Ghost in the Shell, Metal Gear, Tenchu, Timesplitters, Killer 7 and No More Heroes.
