[13:46] <Cicatriz> hmmmm. a user created de_dust for tf2
[13:46] <Cicatriz> 5 point capture point
[13:48] <Cicatriz> point at the spawns. middle point is in the building. 1 is where bomb site b is and another at the terrorists side of the big tunnel
[13:48] <Cicatriz> where that car is

Do you think that'd be a good map for TF2? You are the map guy, so I am coming to you. But I think it'd be an awesome map.

interesting..i know they even made a dust conversion for natural selection too.

it's a small map, has tactical advantages..but the real issue will be cap times. Mesa uses inverted cap time to increase game time..not sure what you want from dust.
normal valve cap times will lead to one team "rolling" the other.

in general is "should" be a quick map to whip up and test.

it almost seams like a payload map actually..weird.

A little dialog me and Dragonhill had. But I wanna open this up because I think this is a really good idea. I don't do mapping so I'm bringing it to you guys.

Cry more CSS :)

Dust has it place in FPS history, just like Blood Gulch(Halo) or Facility(Golden Eye).

Forgot to say, if you were gonna use Dust2, youd have to redo the textures and models. Because extracting models/textures from the GCF and to use them in a map that does not use those textures (Such as how TF2 doesn't use CSS but does use HL2 (Well has those included)) is against the Steam EULA ;D. So youd basically have to rexture and remodel the map.

This is what makes CSS win.

De_dust is not that complicated to re-model, is it ?

Some could argue that egypt doesnt fit tf2 either, but egypt to me, seems a lot like dust. :)
