eGO might have saved my life.

I credit eGO with helping saving my life. Before I joined I would spend a lot of time outside with what I thought were good "friends" but looking back they really weren't, they were involved with some pretty bad stuff (drugs, alcohol, destruction of property, gangs)and everyday I was out there I was getting more involved. Lucky I never gave in to doing the drugs I did drink once but luckily didn't do anything stupid. Right now 1 of those so called "friends are dead"(drunk driving) and 1 had to go to juvenile hall the other is going to be staying in juvenile hall for 8 months.

Now your wondering well how did eGO save my life? Well I play video games occasionally and I was playing Insurgency and I was invited to eGO by HL2master one day. When I joined I got really into the clan and instead of feeling like I need to hang out with those friends to belong to a group, the clan gave me a better sense of belonging.I started playing more which caused me to spend less time with the people I thought were friends. After 2 weeks in the clan I had stop hanging out with them completely because I would play video games instead of going to hang out with them. Even my mom thinks that video games aka eGO help save my life be getting me off the fast path to drugs and eventually death.


I would just like to say thanks to everyone in the whole clan and especially HL2master.
If anyone has a story like this you should post it.

i use KJV (i like the language better) and it states Heb 11:1 - "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
and just very quickly, Romans 10:17 sts - "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."

ahaha nice job getting out of this stuff but i think that video game not only they saved ur life but it doomed ur life to because now u will spend alot of time gaming i did that before u will get Phat if u eat alot of junkfood because the reason u are ordering McDonalds n KFC is that u are getting too lazy to do anything but to eat,use the toilet,play and sleep if u don't watch u can become addicted to video games and it's just like drugs it's better to go outside from time to time drink a beer with "real" friends not to get drunk but just for the phun .
