ARTIMUS LIKES TF2?​

I've been dabbling a bit into TF2, wanting to be more familiar with this game I never got into and to get to know these strange members of our community who primarily hang out in a cartoonish world where getting a single kill can be nearly impossible for a noob like me. Not to mention figuring out how to help my team to reach the objectives. What are the objectives? And what's with the fat guy that can't seem to be killed?

Luckily, my travel schedule left a hole big enough for me to finish my taxes, visit with JohnT and play a game or two this weekend. So I thought this would be a great time to learn more about TF2 and eGO's TF2 division by participating in last nights Royal Rumble. I had a blast, got my lights punched out (very quickly) in a one on one match watched by everyone in attendance, and basically made an idiot of myself for about an hour. Somehow I even earned an achievement:

Thanks for the screen shot Buga. I enjoyed myself so much that I spent the rest of the night, I mean THE REST OF THE NIGHT, playing. Then a strange thing happened....

So, as I mentioned, JohnT and his family visited Rashell and I for the weekend. As we were saying our goodbyes at the front door today I happened to look up and notice an area near the ceiling that would be great for some sticky bombs. I'm not kidding! It was the first thing that came into my mind when I looked up. You decide:

Because they are busy dodging, zig zagging and killing the UNKNOWN in their own living room to get to the kitchen

Don't right click too soon though, he needs to clear the threshold so that the blast radius hits him once he walks in.... also.. camp behind the couch so he cant see you, a demo man standing there staring at you with a dumb look on his face while your running right at him is usuallly a sign of BOOBY TRAP.

Spot on the ceiling for sticky bombs? You know you play too much TF2 when....

For me it was walking through Wal-Marts a couple months ago, and I swear I heard a sentry gun beep in the next aisle. Not a good next couple of minutes. :blushing:

I used to play Natural Selection...a LOT! For those not in the know, NS is one of the highest-rated and supported mods for Half-Life. http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns/

The point of this is that I used to go into malls and grocery stores, see interesting nooks/spots and think to myself "that would be an excellent place for a sensory chamber/offense chamber/defense chamber..."
