CSS mic problems

[WaterSnake]

When I hold down the chat button, nothing goes over. It used to work fine, but I deleted my cstrike folder for skin deletion, but it was reformed. Still doesn't work. I tried reinstalling, but to no avail. Please help me, thanks.

Okay. I'm pretty sure this happens to me too. I'm not sure what causes it, but it's like my OS forgets that I have a mic plugged in, and the connection is never established between CSS and the hardware.

Usually a restart fixes it. You may wanna try a restore point.

[Huh?]

make sure your mic in windows isn't muted either, as well as in steam options and also in css...

Well, it works for all other games, and this was a long time ago. I don't wanna restore point it.
