How did you come across eGO?

Okay, so I owned my own clan, in GMod. One day, the first day of the big update when it started using the user set name for that game, it now used the Steam Friends name.

Well, 5star was a member. He joined the server with the =(e)= tag, instead of the [X?N] tag. He said "Pie, I have to tell you something." I responded: "Let me guess, you're leaving X?N?" He said "Oh, that is my tf2 tag "

Approximately 9 months later, I was playing on my old clan's server, and I HATED IT!!! All of a sudden, I was attached to that clan for so long, all the pressure from disrespect and cursing of the other players built up! I couldn't take it! I quit right away, and I was playing on my friend's clan, who just left the same clan, and made a clan. I didn't like it there because there was still cursing and disrespect there, just not as much because they were low traffic.

I remembered my friend, 5staralphasnake, and THANK YOU 5STAR! you were in eGO jail, CS:S, and I decided to join! I was like... WOW! THIS CLAN IS AWESOME! I was like "Should I join... No. I am afraid to commit to something like this.. But there's no disrespect or cursing! I have to!"

So I put in my application, and within a week I was bugging Ill Legend...

J\k I took him as a friend, and he barely knew me, and somehow I knew I bugged him :O

I am now fully dedicated and I love it here

When Palermo came out in DoD:S, I wanted to try out the map and I found this server called eGO with tons of people in it & so I joined the server. I liked the people on the servers so I decided to join. :w00t:

After playing for a while, around December I began to wonder why I didn't join a group or clan yet, and one day i'm playing in a Edge server and wasn't even thinking of joining, until I read the little pop-up in the text stating to join us mature gamers, and suddenly right after I read that I passed out. Next thing I knew I woke up on the site and had signed up with a very subtle turtle nearby who accepted me into the family.

I joined an eGO server [I wanna say one of the 2forts] bc it had a good ping & was nearly full, didn't get too far into playing before USCG Hammer friended me & asked me to join & since I wasn't in a clan I said wth bc eGO seemed like a group of nice friendly people & it was best 'wth' choice I've ever made

It was the summer of 2008....

I had just recently dee-elled Insurgency and started playing on some random servers. The first few were foreign opperated so i had no idea as how to communicate with russian (?) speaking players.

Looking for better prime-time servers, i came across the eGO servers. It was virtually lag free, the people were polite and friendly, and the added thrill of actually playing with a full team caressed the adrenaline side of me.

At the time, i was clanless. I used to play an old Star Wars game that used a Quake 3 engine. I felt a need to be commited and to identify myself with other people.

And now im here!!

Well, Playing HC s&d back when the Hctac server was still around in cod4. Me and a friend found it, I instantly made friends and joined up.

eGO Ava was one of the first servers i played in when i first got the game. Played in another clan for about 4-5 months while still coming to the ava server regularly. One day I just decided to join in.

After I quit CS:S many, many years ago after the falling apart of the clan I was in and doing, Valve found some reason to ban me, till the day today, I still don't know why my old account was banned... They also never gave a reason, anways.

I returned to gaming with Day of Defeat about 2-3 years later and while just randomly looking for a filled server the; 24/7 Charlie Server caught my eye, since I loved that map since the classic DoD, months later, I found myself in eGO and now I'm still here for almost 2 years already. ^^

I check maaany servers then i found eGO .. its sound nice,,, then i join to server. and i say wow niice then i join th group and register on edgegamers... when there was =(eG)= Kulture and =(eGO)= TenGHz.. helping me to do application =)

6/18/07 i see eGO and i play donner and im like omg!! I want to join. And i joined. It was awesome and like wow nice gamers. Then i left my other clan and stayed with eGO for 21+ months.

Interestingly, the original plan was to create a =[Ga]= clan for our Gamium game review website (there's three other =[Ga]= floating around here ), but when I'd been on Edgegamers servers for a while, I sat down with the Gamium team and we decided to scrap the Gamium clan and throw in with Edgegamers... and I'm glad we did!
