If it was up to me Activision should of done whatever they could to get out of their contract with treyarch.... the only reason COD WAW is any good is becuase activision owns the rights to COD4:MW and thus allowing treyarch to pretty much copy the successfull forumla of Infinity Ward..

Which is'nt a bad thing, WAWs excells in the fact that its maps are bigger, Treyarch didnt do nearly as much with the graphics like IW did...

I dunnno, i just really want MW2

i cant wait for this. I love the first mod warfare and want to play more. I hope they add a lot more guns and improve the graphics to this game compared to cod4.

Hmmmm....COD4 is not really a sequel imo, sure its an updated version of a general franchise but it is unique in and of itself and totally different from the first 3, MW2 is just that, the sequel to an original game sharing the name of the franchise. It seems pretty cool so far and hopefully lives up to the standards set by its predecessors.

So I read more into this and this game is no longer part of the Call of Duty franchise. It is now just, Modern Warfare 2. Honestly, the only things that could make this one better than it's predecessor is:

1. Make a longer campaign.
2. Make single grenades in multiplayer a perk

I say "Yes, make it longer." for the number 1.
And I say "Why?" for the number 2.

Why on the grenades? Because there is far too much grenade spam in COD4 multiplayer. I absolutely hate grenades in all multiplayer games. It's one of the reasons I like TF2 so much.

Call of Duty masterminds Infinity Ward have already teased that they are working on a follow up to their smash hit Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare but this time is for real. Activision announced today that the developer is hard at work on Modern Warfare 2 (no CoD in this title) for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The new title even has a release date of November 10 of this very year. Let the anticipation begin!

No other details were given but feel free to check out the official website which contains a teaser audio clip of some possibly bad people in a public building. Said people are heard locking and loading in an elevator then letting all hell break out once the floor bell dings and the doors open.
