well im RLLY up and down
sometimes i have like a RLLY good score like the top 3 from the whole server
and sometimes i have a RLLY bad score
does anyone have advice for me to be consistently good???

kill people before they kill you.
try not to panic, if you see more than 1 guy don't freak out and spray, concentrate on killing one at a time until you're dead

well my advice would be play with your sounds high look at your radar and just as soon as you hear them coming pop a flash and come and and kill them all :D

don't be that guy that rushes ahead of everyone, imrove you're aim by camping and tag along after a really good player and watch them and soon you'll gell a hang of it

You're probably more consistent than what you give yourself credit for. You're fighting so many different people, and each of them has their own degree of skill. You're gonna come into many different situations which could have a near infinite amount of outcomes. It's true that there are some people that would seem consistently 'good'. Thats because they are 'good'. They're just plain better.

I think what you're actually looking for is tips to play better, rather than more consistently. The only advice I can give you, is to submerge your humanity and become a greater monster than whatever your fighting. Just kidding. Like Ruthless. // ?pistols said before me, make sure you're listening. If you hear footsteps but no one is on radar, the enemy is near you. Don't be afraid to hang around a corner and wait for them. Staying with your team is another good idea.

Work safe. Work smart. Your future depends on it.

Record demos of yourself on good days and see what your doing that helps.

now i used to be really a lot better then i am now try aiming for the head or if you wanna do what i do learn the recoil of every gun and spray but, control the way you spray its not very hard i can al;most make it so every m4 bullet goes right in my crosshair just takes practice and watch other good players.

the way to be consistent is join the losing team.

and you may be able to shoot your m4 into the same spot, but that takes time, and the m4 isnt a 1 shot kill if the enemy has armor. aim for the head and pull down, headshot + chest 2 shot kill no matter what armor.

ya sticking with your team is very important. in CSS its kinda rare to be rambo unless you're really good or really lucky. but i always say luck accompanies skill, so ya.

the main issue is being on target. to do so personally, im getting used to the smallest crosshairs you can use again (almost looks like a dot!) which narrows down the non visual guesswork inside the crosshair. also make sure you are not moving when you burst your shots, or else they will be off target. try playing a server with an awp for a day, you'll be able to tell if you're moving...lol
i'd also say knowledge is key. play both sides on the map and get to know the map. where the conflict points are, how fast each team can get to each one. use common sense like..oh half my team is on de_dust2 in B tuns and mid, and cannot find the guy, maybe i should go check A, most likely went through long.
^---that also helps with not being surprised or shot in the back as often.

and spec really good people, you'll notice their crosshairs are always where people MIGHT pop out, and usually never right against a corner, but a bit away from it, because reaction time. by the time you see him pop out and pull the trigger, he'll be in your crosshairs instead of past them.

Do this. I do, and it helps. i have some demos of me from scrims were i take out 3 guys, and ive been watching it. Thanks to it, i was able to 1 shot head shot kill Dr Death with a Deag. :):)

What I usually do is let the other teammates go ahead of me. You don't want to be first because they usually die first, unless they rule and make everyone cry. Well anyways, try being the third out of 4 people to go.

all of these posts are awesome.

I recommend if you're looking for accuracy to shoot at the target spray for a while.
And watch what the 'good' players do!

I learned how to use scout mainly with practice, watching this amazing player scout and getting the hang of lagging or leading a shot.
I've found that with my ping and latency/server tick/etc that on eGO I have to shoot JUST before my cross hair reaches someone [while strafing].

Think of there being a beam that is consistently protruding in front of you, like a line or something else.
What you need to do is control that beam or line and I swear when you learn how to move around and successfully "see" or "feel" your line or beam your aim will sky rocket.

That's why no scoping comes so naturally [after HOURS of practice].

If you ever watch me play I like to jump and spin around and dance around and I can do this and still manage to take out a few peeps.
It's learning the asdw keys and implementing them all and in combinations so you can move around in more than a left right forward backwards manner.

You just have to get a feel for the physics of counter strike in order to play consistently as well.

Everyday physics are much different than cs physics obviously but when you can fully engulf your playing in CS Land and understand exactly how things will fall, rest, and move you will begin to consistently do better in my honest opinion.

It's just a matter of transitioning from physical physics onto virtual physics.

Get your flow going and just let go.

You know when you go on a spree and take out a bunch of guys and then stop and go wow, but then after that you fail miserably?
That's because you thought about what just happened.

Go the entire round without pausing to go wow and learn to control getting into the zone.

It's awesome, I know, and it can be hard to stay in it without getting overjoyed with awesomeness but that's another thing to work on, controlling your flow and staying in the zone, the entire round.

And I cannot stress enough how music affects my gameplay.
get a playlist going, find some energetic drum n bass or some kind of fast paced tunes you like with a nice flowing rhythm and dance with it as you play.

I can't tell you how many times I've nailed people in the face as they come around the corner because they just happened to on the down beat of some measure, etc.

It's amazing how much music can line up with what's going on in counter strike.

You just have to get sucked in and believe that you are going to accomplish a kill or an objective and, unless some nut kills YOU first, then the game takes on a whole new light.
