Won't let me log on steam

When i try to retrieve my steam info it says my steam account isnt valid or in use
and i use it everyday to log on and now it won't let me on at all
can someone help me?

everyone else is having steam trouble too... sorry for posting this made a mistake and uninstalled now i need to know if theres anyway i can get all those files back that i just deleted.

You can. As long as you can get back on to your account, you can get the files back. That's the good thing about Steam, you always have your games credited to your account, where-ever you are.
