To all of those players who got "left out" of yesterday's scrim:

We understand that things went askew yesterday. When this happens again in the future (sooner than you think) there will be a signup sheet. This ensures that 1, the people that actually read the forums are given a fair shot at the signup board, and 2 everything will be much more organized and orderly.

We can only apologize so many times....We understand where we went wrong after the fact, and will rectify the situation in future versions.

Once again, sorry. No more posts about how "life passes you over" Its a game, it isnt that serious.

i can beat any of you at your own games!!!! is what i would say about 2yrs when i was a hardcore gamer LOL.

but i hear the scrim was fun, wish i was there, work gets in the way tho :( next time maybe there will be a css home town game. i would try to make that one.

good to hear you all had fun, and hope this can go on later :D

For the record, I killed you 3 times. You killed me none? Yes, I'm correct.

Oh, and I got screenies, AND a condump.

To be honest, and not to be mean, Scrimming in CSS is a team thing, not individual. Thats how you make it to cevomain - calmain ;)

edit: Oops, first timer and scswat already posted the same type of idea. Check the other thread!

Looks on the bright side: some events seem to get ignored and no one shows up. This one was a HUGE success for turnout. So much that lots of people are disappointed that they didn't get a chance to play. So, it's kind of like a product that lots of people want to buy. So I would suggest actually having multiple rounds to take care of the overflow, kind of like how a popular show plays for multiple nights or has a matinee. When one sign up sheet fills up you could have a second "show" for another group of people.

To me, this event was a bit harsh, your playing on an unfair level. the teams should play DOD or TF2, even the playing field

Well, Beta, the scrim came up because certain CS:S players were saying that INS takes no skill to play. So, we had to show them the error of their ways :P.

King - Looking forward to it!

Due to the late flight I missed it too :crying: but happy that it took place.

Perhaps this can be the first of several. And each time we learn from our mistakes so we'll do sign in sheets etc. Thanks for those who organized it.

When I did get home at 11:00 pm I jumped into FF on and was happy to see FaTtY-mIc-FaT from DOD in there. Looks like the division scrim is attracting interest from other players.

Too bad ours is the free mod!

You see, thats what the CS:S division doesnt understand...Its a team game. That is why they lost. They were just running around like a bunch of Rambos. If you all would have played as a team the entire time...you may have pulled another round. Its not about how many times I killed you, its about how many times my team killed you and how many times we captured all the points to win the game.

P.S. We captured all the points 4 times.

INS>cs:s

lol thats why i like css better i can own a whole team and its more fun cause you feel more important lol

many of these things will happen :)

Hammer and I have been discussing how we plan on new ones, and count on many of them

I was just stating my opinion and thank you for not deleting my post. I guess this was our first scrim or challenge. So mistakes do occur. I'm sure we'll learn from all of this and create a better procedure for acceptance into this kind of challenge if the other child gaming pub 'Team Fortress 2' should ever challenge us.

I hope TF2 does challenge us cause I still have some diapers and pacificers left over from the last A__ wiping of CS:S!

Peace and be well!
