I live in Texas, and if enough people planned on attending, I would be more than happy to drive down there AND help someone out with a ride along the way ( I can only have one other person in my car at a time). I get my real license in like a few weeks

I do think LA is a poor location to be honest. Most major LAN tournaments happen in the Dallas area, even the biggest LAN party in the USA, Quakecon, occurs here. This makes the traveling distance equal for both the west coast and the east coast. If you have a LAN party in LA, the distance is kinda unbalanced.

it really does depend ecause i live in england and itll cost a hell of a lot to get there and back.
