My monitor is giving me problems recently. Every time on startup my monitor flickers on and then goes blank. Does this every once in a while. I used my other lcd and it works fine so i know its the monitor. I also used my other cables and same thing, so it has to be the monitor itself. Im guessing its a cold connection somewhere inside, but not positive.

You can try to adjust the refresh rate, that often helps cure flickers, unless the monitor is actually damaged in some way
(display settings > advanced settings > monitor > refresh rate)
LCD's usually work best at 60hz.
If not, try wiggling the connection on both ends and see if you reproduce the problem, if so, you may need a new cable.

Well yeah it could definantly be that there is a power problem with the monitor and it isnt receiving the energy it needs or it could be the receiver that is actually on the monitor which u plug in your cord into which could make the picture go in and out. Otherwise i would just either bring it back to where you bought it and get a new one from them or try to bring it to some electronic store and let them have a look. Anyways hope your problem is fixed.
