Some Quick Questions About The Jailbreak Server

Hello everyone. I am fairly new here so I just have a couple questions about the rules/etiquette on the Jailbreak CS:S server.

1. Would you consider avoiding execution (ie. You were picked by the person who won a trivia session to die.) by hiding inside of other terrorists in the line, causing them to get shot instead of you to be cowardly? Or would you say it is just an attempt to stay alive and it is the CT's problem that they didn't tell the person you were hiding in to move?

2. If you were to go outside the boundaries stated by the CTs and then return to the correct area very quickly, (without picking up any firearms or anything) to then be shot by a CT while you had been in the correct area for at least 30 seconds or so, is this freekilling?

3. When the final terrorist gets his/her last request, if they begin to shoot CTs at random in an attempt to kill them off, are you (as a CT), allowed to fire back and kill the final terrorist?

These are just a few things I have been wondering about and I hope someone can clear them up for me.

Dont know about 1, I can answer 2 and 3 to the best of my abilities.

2. Technically, No. You were outside of the boundaries, so the CT has a right to shoot you. Its like this: If you have a gun, kill a CT, then drop it, the CT has all right to shoot you.

3. Yes.
 
I guess the first question is more of an opinion and doesn't really have a straight answer.

I just noticed that the two you answered were in the sticky about the rules right above this, too. I should have read that before I posted. :facewall:
But I am still curious to see what people think about the first one.

1. Um thats just preference and it doesnt matter, either way if the CT's didnt tell them to move its freekill but, if they did and didn't then its fine.
2. its not freekill if they said "be here by 1:30" but if they told you to just "come here" then they must allow those people to come. But, if you were in vent/ armory or a place not allowed by a ct then they can kill you.
3. Yes, LAST REQUEST cannot be "kill all of you" or "line up to die" PERIOD. It can be "30 seconds and M4" but not a death sentence.
 
About 3. Its not too late to rebel during a last request. That's whats happening. I'm pretty sure a T could even say "Okay I want everyone to line up like a firing squad and try to kill me while I shoot at them with an M4 in a blaze of glory!" and then rebel, mowing them all down with the M4 as they line up. The last request could even be '30 seconds and M4', and the T could just start shooting people as soon as he's given the M4.

Remember that the T's don't ever have to not kill CT's. It just makes them open season.

well if a different person gets killed because you were hiding inside of them, its your fault, not the CTs. if you're intentionally hiding inside people or grouping up the CTs can kill everybody in that group...not necessarily purposely but in order to kill you, they can....and will

Wrong. If a wanted T hides himself in a group of other Ts, the CT has to tell those Ts to watch out. If a CT mowes down 10 Ts just to kill 1 thats hiding, thats freekilling. However, if the CT tells the Ts to watch out, and they purpously try to protect the wanted T, then the CT can mow them down. To avoid this altogether, you will often hear CTs say "Unstack" or "Ts spread out when lined up"

2. if they say be there by a set time and u run away and come back and they kill its a freekill

Number 2 depends.. Because if they say "No detours" then they can kill you because you went somewhere you shouldn't have gone...
 
1. you can if you want too, if cts kill you and the other guy your were hiding on, that would be crossfire.

2. it depends on the warden, if he/she is strict or not to enforce that rule or give you a second chance.

yes, even if you are not last ct, and the last t starts to shoot at your fellow t's, his/her lr is revoked, and he/she is then free game.

if you still have more, feel free to post, pm me, or ask on the severs. but i would recommend you pm rogue sniper if you have any more questions, he was the one that came up with the rules i believe. and if your on the sever and have a question, ask away. i would recommand you ask an eGO, because some of the pubbers dont know all the rules for our jail sever, since our jail sever is a bit different.
