Hey everyone. I know it's been awhile since i was promoted but i just wanted to say something to everyone. I'm here to help so all you e's out there who have a problem you can add me to steam or you can private message me on the forums. If you have any questions or comments anything at all doesn't have to be about kicking someone. it could be about what question you have to do on your homework. I don't care i'm here for the clan so if anyone wants any help feel free to ask and if i can't answer i'll try and point you in the right direction.

Well, I'm still pretty new to the game, just started in February. What would help me would be a list of useful console commands.

Things like a command to re-initialize the sound system. The other night I was getting some obnoxious looping sound effects. I know in the old quake engine there was a way to reset the sound system when this kind of thing happened.
As it is, I have to quit and restart the game.


Know of any commands like that? Useful things that people might need at one point?

We do have an admin reference card with some useful console commands on it, and not just admin ones. Plus you can probably hit up google and just search for a list of all console commands, and make your own reference card to anything useful.

I really wish I could link you to our card, but I'm on this terribly slow public computer at a car dealership right now having my vehicle checked out. I can't even open a new window, so to navigate to that card, find some way to link you to it, then get back here and do so, would be a 10 minute endeavor, minimum. D= Someone help me out!

@ Dayman - That's exactly the attitude every e, eG, and eGO needs to have. We're here for everybody, whether they be officially in eGO or just a pub. Adminning can be frustrating, but that's why we have a community of admins: to help each other out.

Yup, Dayman is an excellent person to add on steam, so you can yell at him over steam chat for shooting off your head.

The reference card is on the eG private forums, as I recall.

My suggestion for sound looping is just record a demo and stop it. If your sound starts to loop, chances are some other crap is happening too. Demo recording will fix that. I've got it bound to a key, actually.

Hope its a good one s3rvo, one with awsome graphic details so that you can see all the blood spray as I stab you in the back...J/K...LOL. Hope to see you online s3rvo, and yeah, the ref. card is in the eG private Discussion forums...its a very helpful card and lists a great deal of info that any admin could find handy...I know I have.
