Gtx390

I know it's already been pointed out that it's a fake, but if it were real, how much heat would that thing produce? The GTX 295 is bad enough, but sandwiching another couple of chips into the mix would just be ridiculous!

that was just a good joke XD

and lets face it, nvidia has been coming out with crap after the 8 series. the new ones are maybe a bit better. but come on, they are just pushing it now. ati, ftw. and im a nvidia user :p

but good joke nevertheless XD

Wow. Thats a damn fine fake just for an April fools joke

Yeah. A card like that would run way to hot to even function (well maybe for a couple minutes). I just assumed that it was real and that it was concept card.

This one may have been fake, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see one of these in the not-too-distant future.

It looks like the cooler was beefed up (in the fake), and if they used copper instead of aluminum, I think that it would be able to cope. It'd be damn close though.

~Gooda~

I'm not sure it could be a lot worse than the 4870x2 I have. Picked up the MSI one that was in production for awhile, and even with it running about 10-15c cooler than most of the others x2's, it can still heat my room up by about 10 degrees in an hour if the door is shut. It's like a freaking space heater.

That seems way way to hard to believe. I know the 4870x2 runs hot but not as hot as 4 GPUs. That's just ridiculous man!
The GTX295's temps are pretty close to those of the 4870x2. So your tell me that a GTX390 (if it existed) wouldn't run any hotter than a GTX295? :confused1:

nah on top of a massive power supply u would also need a top of the line water cooling system. i mean 4 GPUs that close is way too hot. I'm ready to see Nvidia or ATI start integrating water cooling hubs into the actual video card.

Pointless games don't even use the full power of two video cards.

Of course its pointless, but there's no fun in just staying in the realm sense and sanity.
Where would we be in there world if we stuck with things that suited us?
