SimCity Societies Or Call Of Duty 5?

I just cant seem to choose between the two.

Now, Simcity Societies allows me to be some sort of benevolent god that builds hospitals and schools while I can also be a god that creates horrible disasters with relative ease.

In COD5,I can battle nazis, zombies and nazi zombies,a tempting offer.

However,CoD5 is a whopping $49.99 while Simcity Societies is a measly $20.00 and I've had only bad experiences with prankbuster.

So I ask you, which should I get?

Speaking as a long time fan of the SimCity franchise(I've played since the original), I'd have to say that Societies was extremely dissappointing. I'd say pick up COD5 now, and if you want to play a city building sim, wait for CitiesXL due out later this year.
 
I've heard bad things about Societies. However, I completely recommend COD:WAW.
 
0-9 so far, CoD's favor. It depends, which do you like more, shooters like CoD, MoH, GoW, etc. or games like Spore, and all the other Sim's games. I personally say CoD because I like shooters.

that is disappointing to hear. simcity is such a great series.
i remember back when i was in grade 8 there was a school project where you had to make a city on simcity (the original) and it had to be the most structured etc etc. the most developed blah blah.
it was my introduction to simcity

Agreed. But if your looking for a game in the sim city series i would say simcity 4 was the best one. To date. Societies was a floped from the guys as well as Simtown. They used the same direction in both. It didnt work the first time with simtown, what made them think it would work with societies. So i voted for COD5 here having never played it. Played plenty of COD4 to know that its the better option thought. But i would suggest looking into picking up Simcity 4 if your looking for a City building game to play. PM if you cant find it online anywhere. I can get it for you.
 
Sim Cities Societies was very bad, it didnt even seem to be a sim city for me, COD5 all the way man

I still play SC4, it is a really great sim overall. Though it has it's limitations, it is still a really great sim and there is a ton of fantastic community developed mods out there for it.

That said, it is showing its age. It's a shame that EA really dropped the ball with Societies because the SimCity community has had an extremely devoted fanbase for years. I'm now looking forward to CitiesXL, it looks to be quite a powerful city sim.
 
COD5 ftw! I've never played it but it has to be better than Societies. Societies was a huge let down for me. I'm a huge fan of Sim City 4 and I still play it from time to time. Societies isn't anything like SC4. Wait until Cities XL to play a city building game or get SC4.
 
I played sim city societies and the zero punctuation review of it says it all. It is a sandbox game with next to no strategy. If you get your kicks building cities for looks go right ahead.

Otherwise COD5 which is a pretty decent game.

While I like Sim City games more I'd still have to say CoD 5 since Societies really isn't that good, if anything go with Sim City 4 if you don't have it, imo the best of the series.. especially with all the great mods out for it.
 
CoD5 all the way, i don't have the patience required for a game like Sim, i'm a simple man of aim, shoot, BOOM ;p and something no one has mentioned, eGO has a CoD5 server which needs support!!!
