i like both, but i love my cat he always puts a smile on my face cuz he's usually up to no good. i had a close bond tho with a rottweiler when i lived in fremont, CA with family friends. that dog was a beast and he had so much personality. he'd be chillin' on the couch sitting like a human rump on the cushion with his front paws on the floor, then he'd rip a loud fart and look around trying to blame someone else.
I'm a dog person, and my husband is a cat person - but we don't currently have either.

I have a sweet cat that always climbs on me when ever I'm bored.
I have an awesome dog that rubs his wet nose on my arm to let me know he's there.
Or they could be doing that to get attention from me >_>. Either way I still love them.
I couldn't choose a favorite between the 2.

DOGS!!!! I love dogs with a passion.
I have a 4 year old Portuguese Water Dog, and a 4 year old Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier. They complete me.
In general though, I love all animals. I am a very big animal person.

cats all the way, she leaves me alone and I leave her alone. Except when she's chasing a mouse then I play around.

I love dogs, but I also love cats. The thing with cats is, the best cat to have is one you found. Trust me. Our first cat we bought at PetsMart and she sucked. Both the cats we have now, we found. One turned up in our barn, she's a golden colored kitty named Goldie, although my friends and I call her Peaches Reloaded, named after my friend Jeff's cat. The other one my dad brought home from work, she was in the parking lot and security was going to shoot her, might I add that my dad works at a nuclear power plant.
Dogs are awesome, they are very loyal, but if you save a cat, they will love you forever. Our calico lives in the garage, and if I've been away for a week or so, she's eager to see me.
