Black and white 2 issue

i installed black and white 2 after a long time of not playing it. so now when i play it the video secnes are slow and choppy and so is some of the game play even in the lowest resolution with the graphics on low, but the expansion "battle of the gods" plays perfectly fine on medium or high ( icant remember atm).. why is it that the expansion play alot smoother?


my specs are:
windows vista
1.5 gb ram
2.2 GHZ dual core processor
128 Mb ram video card. direct x 10 and updated drivers.

here are the game requirements:

OS - Windows 2000/XP
Processor - Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent 1.6 GHz
Memory - 512MB RAM
Hard Drive - 3.5GB
DVD-ROM - 8 SPEED (PC CD-ROM version also available in USA)
Video Card - 64MB with 1.1 Pixel Shader*
Sound Card - DirectX 9.0c compatible
DirectX - Version 9.0c
Input - Keyboard, mouse

are both games install on the same drive? This sounds like a lack of free space/vitual memory too me. If they are on the same drive IDK, But in either case i would say try freeing up some hard drive space.

hmm, i never thought about that, i installed it on the default drive which is drive C: for my pc on both games but ill double check . as for the hard drive memory, i think i still have over 200GB left i have a maxium of 250 GB so i havent used much. thanks for the help. if anyone else has any other answers please post i will try all of them.

ok now my Battle of the gods expansion crashes when i load my game while playing saying "Black and White 2 core application has stopped working." what does that mean...oh and if anybody plays this game or has...why does my creature attack my town and ppl?
