So, I have come out of denial and admitted my addiction to Uplink. I was talking to Minerva and Hitman from the INS Division about the game. They expressed their interest in the game and I figured I would throw it up here on eGO for all to see.

I do have several copies if someone would like it. Minerva and Hitman already have the slots for the copies but I have others around. Once I see some interest either by replys or PM's I will post several hints to help you not fail every 5 seconds.

hehe, I have this game too. Cool, but it's extremely repetitive after a while. While here however is a long, long time. :D

I remember playing a demo of that game and loving it. It was way before I had a credit card of my own, so I stood no chance of actually getting it :D.

Man...that was a great game for what I played of it.

i just got this in a bundle with darwinia, mulitwinia, and defcon...it was $5 on steam right now! BEST DEAL EVER!!!

I LOVE THIS GAME SO FAR!!!

i heard a lil bit bout this game. ill check it out in steam to learn more bout it.

**EDIT** i remember the game now. the reason i didnt go after it was cause it was just sp & not mp. they need to cut down on the price before it becomes worth getting.

I just bought the Introversion complete pack for 5$ after I read the post and checked out the game, I also wanted the other games.. Darwinia etc, good deal.

Had 5$ laying around in paypal, I said why not.

I've played Uplink for close to three years in my spare time. It's a good game, but it's not for everyone. Also, if you're looking for a realistic 'hacking' experience, you won't find it here, it's completely different.

The story is a bit slow, but you probably won't be focusing on the story that much when there are so many random assignments to take. However, as the story actually progresses, it gets better.

All in all, it's a decent time waster that can get addictive to a select group of people, and will be utterly despised by most others.

Lol.. I don't think they would make a realistic hacking experience. Don't want to train everyone :P

Real life hacking isn't that exciting either.
