Allright ladies and gentlemen, what do you think about a small eGO get together in the Lone Star State? This is not an official eGO event but fear not we have gained approval from Council.

Now for the details. The plans are on the Saturday of Memorial weekend (May 23rd) get together in the great town of Marshall,Texas. Located roughly 2 1/2 hours East of Dallas and 5 hours North of Houston.

It is BYOC, we'll feed you and keep your throat from getting dry ( won't provide any of the hard stuff though), but lodgings will not be provided. Contact Xenophek, email him at [email protected], as to local hotels on the cheap as these are his stomping grounds.

We need to get a rough head count through the attached poll so we can decide where we will set up shop so please vote. Additional details will be added/updated as the numbers roll in.

Suggestions and recommendations appreciated and encouraged.

Too far from me, I live alllll the way in Canada. Wish I could come though!

Houston is about 4 hours away, and another 5 after that... makes that a bit of a drive for me (in my condition) but i would love to come otherwise. :D hope you guys have fun.
 
i would love to come but i live in pa its a little far for me to travel. we need to get an east coast lan going on.

I'm moving out of the city soon, so I'd have the space and I'm thinking of doing something along those lines.
Just gotta pass it by my parents (Meaning it's not likely but we have a chance.)
 
Yeah, I feel sorry for you East Coast people. The HQ is in California, and the servers are here in Texas.

Anyway, for those reading, this LAN party isn't a maybe. It's gonna happen for sure, but we're just trying to get the word out and see how many are intersted. Food and drink are on the house. If you have suggestions, shoot me a PM.
