Custom =(eGO)=? TF2 background

Much better, but I would like to see the TF2 cast line up...perhaps the one with the whole red team and the blue spy posing as the red one at the bottome of the eGO, but still very well done.
 
I installed it per you instructions but it only shows on the loading screen when I'm connecting to a server, not at the main menu. Any thoughts? (I'm using the 2nd one in the smaller resolution.)

it worked for me, im using the 1080p and it works fine with me...i get the background during loading as well as after it loads.

Woodstock you must put both of them into the console folder not just one for it to work.
 
This is what I have:

\tf\materials\console\background01.vtf
\tf\materials\console\background02.vtf

As far as I can tell this is what your Readme instructs me to do.
 
I really don't know why it wouldnt work, have you downloaded any other backgrounds?

Um the best advice I could give you for it to work would be to delete the tf folder. Delete tf not team fortress 2, restart TF2 (it makes a new tf folder) and install again. Other than that I really don't know why it wouldnt work. Sorry:(
 
What do you mean? If you wanted to make your own background you would have to download VTF edit here



First select your image, Use an editing program such as Adobe Photoshop, and save, I'd save it as a .tga file for better quality. Then using VTF edit extract the file, then save as

background01
and
background02 in
tf\materials\console
 
anyone know where I can find or if you (scary person) can make a background with a wallpaper im looking for. If you can find it, the only place ive seen it is at the end of this animation, but would love a wall paper of it, ill keep looking for the pic...if you find it, and would make a wall paper of it for me could you have it say "Spy Among Us"....heres the link.

If you can find the picture I can, I have been looking for the past 30 minutes and I cant seem to find it.
 
Ive got a diff pic, that I would love to have as a wallpaper, im currently asking someone to put it for a sig for me as well...if you could make the wallpaper for me id really appreciate it. It has no writing on it, but would love for you to put:
