"Dan's Thoughts:
I don't like this board."
"Kyle's Thoughts:
I not only don’t like the BloodRage motherboard, I hate it and hope to never have to ever use it again."
Bottom line:
"That all said, I would never considering putting a BloodRage motherboard in my personal system. Your mileage my vary, and quite frankly, we hope like hell it does."

If i was a prospective buyer, looking for a X58 motherboard, and i see comments like:
"It is a long list of complaints. Well certainly more than usual. This is flat out the worst layout I've seen to date on any X58 chipset based board." - BloodRage
compared to:
"Gigabyte has done an outstanding job with the EX58 UD5's layout." - EX58-UD5
Which board do you think I'll choose? Which board do you think anyone else would choose? It's not about 'personal experience' when it comes to choosing a motherboard. It's about the facts. You either pick a good one or a bad one. You can't have it both ways.
If you're happy with it, and it's serving you well, great, but i sure as hell wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

As far as layout goes, thats a personal reference. If a person says the layout sucks then it obviously it doesn't fit his needs. The layout for me couldn't be more perfect. Its all about what the person wants. If a board doesn't suit a person needs, then get one that does!
I just wanted to post my machine, you didn't have to come in here saying how my board sucks right to my face.

I know, and he could have just said that instead of telling me that my board is no good.
ANYWAY... Lets drop this.
Yeah, let's talk about how my i7 build is better then yours :w00t:
Nice OC at 3.8GHz, but a bit overkill for the vid card unless you get another and crossfire it. What temp does your CPU run at under load?

Ok, im not here to start a fight, just sayin stuff
Yes, your correct, people look at reviews. But how many reviews from different places have you actually compared? if your just getting them from one place, its just not enough. And well, if i personally lived by EVERYTHING someone said and not what i thought myself or decided to take a shot at things, it would almost seem robotic? anyways, These boards are mass produced, some better than others. but just because one person had one bad board, doesnt automatically make EVERY single board a bad board. There i think im done venting and stuff.
Actually, reviews from HardOCP are a lot more trustworthy compared to the rubbish reviews from Anand or TomsHardware. If you're looking for motherboard or video card reviews, HardOCP is the first site you should look at. They actually give honest evaluations, and chances are, if a product is crap, they'll tell you bluntly.
This isn't about choosing a movie, a book or a dress, where it's all subjective, where you can think for yourself. Choosing PC parts is based on fact, objective reviews. If you like to 'take a shot at things' when it comes to spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on new parts, fine, but for me, I stick to reputable brands that have been evaluated properly.
not sure what you guys are fussing over. The bloodrage would be better than 90+% of what anybody else has at the moment so I am curious to know what everyone here who says his board isnt good has for a board. Yes the bloodrage had only 3 slots for memory and some ppl dont like red and black but cmon. Its one of the most powerful boards on the market.

Same goes with the building process, there was no way anyone other than me was going to put it together  (my friend at the right there with his socks on was just watching) Don't worry everyone, I knew what I was doing. All that chaos with the Sobe and the socks all over the place, that was all under control
