I use small sony speakers. They work good enough for the sound left vs right and I can still use a mic if needed.
My logitech headset just isn't comfortable for long period of time.

I agree with logitech being uncomfortable but i still use the headset

I got a set of AudioFX headphones from eDimensional and they are quite comfy. 5.1 surround sound awesomeness too. Although I do have a splitter for the front L/R port so I can watch movies and TV shows with my TV's speakers.

I agree with garrrrrr the logitech headphones just kill my ears after a couple hours, it feels like they are going to fall off. So I use speakers however if I am using my mic I will go headphones out of politeness because I hate it when you talk and it echoes; then you kinda hear your voice and think it sounds bad, but I think it's mostly the echo

Headsets, mainly because if you're living with other people, it doesn't bother them too much. You can also hear everything much more clearly through them.
