Clarification of Jail rules

This is a question I've always had in jail. CTs cannot make a rule stating that those who accidentally pick up guns can be shot, can they? I came out of a teleporter from the death race, and it landed me right on a gun, so two CTs sprayed, and killed about 5 Ts. It wasn't even close to making sense, I wasn't warned at all, the moment I came out, I was shot, almost as if they were waiting for me.

i think they have the rite to say it but if the gun was on the teleportor spot u shouldn't have been killed cuz u were pretty much baited cuz the cts could've easily just shot it away but they didn't so i think its baiting? idk not sure

No they can not say that cause how is it thier fault if they accidentily pick up a gun so I disagree with that rule but I am pretty sure u should contact an advisor to get total reassurance

Well, what happened to you was definitely a freekill/bait. But if there is a gun on their way to somewhere, they could easily walk around it. Or if its off to the side somewhere and they would have to go out of their way to get it, its obvious they were trying to get it to kill a CT.

When I warden I usually wait a few seconds when I see a T with a gun. I tell them to look down at the ground immediately and if they point it anywhere else they die. As far as KOS when a T has a gun is unfair from my experience as being a T. Sometimes a gun would pop in my hand and I would be sniped not even barely knowing I had a gun. It's one of those fine lines that is hard to get threw to everyone.

In my opinion the CT's that killed you were wrong and should have killed themselves or been warned.

The rules state that you must give a warning before shooting/killing a T with a weapon unless the T is wanted or is shooting at you or another CT. So basically, if you pick it up and you drop it right then and you do not run around with it, you are not liable for being killed. (Assuming you are not wanted)

It's the trigger happy CTs with AWPs that stay double scoped on T's heads, and right when a gun touches their fingers, they hit M1.

I think the most annoying thing is when a gun is getting passed through the T line, and CT's are too stupid to realize people are trying to drop it.

Yes, it is quite annoying sometimes when you just stumble across a weapon without the intention of shooting it and just as you're about to drop it, someone guns you to death. A warning should be in order, but in most cases when it happens to me, it is due to the CT who has me on sight not having a mic.

Official rules in another thread: If the gun is holstered, CTs have to warn. If the gun is out, the CTs dont have to warn but wait a few seconds before shooting.

If they killed you instantly, it was a freekill.
I'd turn off auto-switching to powerful weapons in the options.

This is questionable. Very good question.
If it is a DETOUR, running away to get the gun, they have the right to shoot.
If it is ACCIDENTAL, then they must warn, and give a decent amount of time.
