ello all

i have exciting news...

my studio is complete!!!!!!!!!!!!

basically the only way i get money is through gigs. i have to pay for my car and for internet. i am a musician. but now! things just got a whole lot easier for me!

i just purchased a new computer (as you know) and a Roland VS-890 digital work station (recording device) and me and my band have started making CD's!!!

yey. im using two other computers i have as monitors. and we have a pretty awesome setup. around 5 mics (plus 5 drum mics), surrond sound playback (you know the works)...

anywho we have a problem... weve been together for around 2 years. played tons of shows. but yet dont have a band name :crying:

we go by "The Cab" but thats an english rock band so we cant use that anymore if we are going to produce CD's =d

we had one name; "git and the gitets"

but for some reason the other members of the band didnt like it :sneaky2: they didnt seem to like "barfbag" either... i well

cmon eGO... use your creativity! come up with some names :P:P

im not toooooo sure what you mean by GIT or MI
but i baught the digital recorder from a guy on craigs list xD
the mics from musicians friend
drum mics for musicians friend

but if you are ever going to buy guitars or other insturments... go guitar center >.< baught my gibson SG from there for $1k... same exact guitar at MF for 2K-1.2K

"The CAB" is also a teen pop band that is signed with decadance but I got a question for you. Where are you located?
 
what part of texas, i have quite a few friends that are in bands in the dfw-denton area.... i might of heard yall play if you all have done denton before... lol.

around an hour north of houston... so like two hours south of DFW =(
