CAN I CHANG MY NAME BACK TO =e= DAKINE *NADER* OR WILL IT EFFECT MY SCORES?JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF IT WAS OK BEFORE I DO.

well u probably noe but u need to do the request first and i don't think it affects ur scores and everything

If you want to change your name, head over to http://www.edgegamers.org/forums/profile.php?do=requestusername

When you get there, you'll see it tells you not to inclue the =(e)= tag.

Recruits: All name changes are STRONGLY FROWNED UPON. If you have a VALID reason for it to be changed; an Advisor or Council needs to be contacted via Private Message explaining the reason and what your new name will be. New names may cause some of you who are about to get promoted to be delayed in the process.

If you get promoted while using a certain user-name, you cannot change it. You need to stick with your original name.

I grabbed that from the CS:S recruitment thread, which is pretty old. I don't know if that still holds true, so if you really want to change your name, go for it. HLstatsX uses your SteamID to record stats/scores so you don't need to worry about that.

it does not affect your overall scores, in game or in the forums
