As the game is set in Europe, European truck-designs feature exclusively - all trucks use highly realistic, meticulously detailed models based on real trucks. The truck interiors of Euro Truck Simulator are as equally impressive as the exteriors. With actual working instruments such as flashing indicators, temperature and low fuel warning lights, wipers, and naturally - a full set of gauges including speedometer - all built into the interior 3D model, Euro Truck Simulator offers a truly immersive simulation environment. The player can pan around the cabin, just as if they were actually sitting at the wheel.

I just bought this game, it's freaking incredible. Does anyone else like games like these?

Players choose their starting country, from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. Then players choose their first truck with a budget of ?100,000.

After this, players can start taking jobs from various fictitious companies and delivering cargo to various cities in their starting country to earn money. This money can then be spent on a new truck, upgrading the current truck, expanding the business to other countries and obtaining a license to drive flammables and chemicals.

Modding

You can mod the hell out of this game.

Anyway, this game is brilliant. You can change the magical fictitious truck companies and regular companies to real companies. Like, during my cheese drop off to Paris. Lol Asda.

You can get alot of great mods here. To install them, just throw the files into your mod folder in your ETS my Documents directory.
