New Server Changes !

As of today, there have been changes to the servers. They are as follows:
​
  • Dust2 has adjusted respawn times to quell the rampant spawn camping and exit killing.​
​
  • FF OFF has been converted to a 24/7 Sinjar Server​
​
  • FF On has an abbreviated map rotation with the most popular maps only. The maps are Almaden, Baghdad, Buhriz(new!) and Sinjar​

Right on.

Only downside is I no longer have a "time out" server just incase my TKs go crazy!

I like the changes though!

NOOOOOO! , i liked it they way it was were evry server rotated with more maps. add more maps. like karkar...(no that map isnt un fair the US has won just bout as many times as the INS when ive played, it all depends on team work). others maps...the one with where D is underground in tunnels. umm the one with the oil thingys( atleast i think thats what they are). i personally dont like sinjar... :( but oh well.
 
awww no karkar at all. i think we should still have some way to have the other maps in there. like sinjar is my least favorite map in the game and karkar is my favorite so this in my opinion isn't a very good rotation, i would rather see all the servers being able to be chosen from instead of a 24/7 sinjar, or a rotation with only the popular servers because i also know people that really like karkar.
 
I'm awful at sinjar, but it's a popular community map, so I understand the change. I was thinking that we would have 1 server as push maps rotation and the other as a&d maps rotation, and then dust2 would be custom rotation.
 
i meant to add this in my previous post....if the server changed to a map that no one liked then we'd vote to change it, it worked all the time. i just dont like have 2 maps to choose from. heres a idea dont know how it will work but its just an idea. add the rest of the maps back and make the 24/7 sinjar to a 24/7 most popular map rotation.
 
longer respawn-times in dust2 sounds good - but what is with this nice costum-maps we played the last view weeks ?:blink:
 
Dust seems to take a hit after the switch. I can get used to it, and it seems to be better, just need to populate it.
 
Terrible server changes! I have been regular player on both the FF ON and FF OFF servers for the past 3 months. Both servers were often highly populated. One of the reasons was the fact that players were able to vote for maps. There are already a number of Sinjar 24/7 servers out there. I think the switch is going to upset a lot of loyal ego server players. If people want to play Sinjar they can vote for it as they often do. The switch to only 3 maps on the FF ON server is also another bad move. I believe that if both servers are set to full map rotations players would be happier. The right to vote for the map is what keeps players coming back to ego servers. I have already heard major dissatisfaction while playing on the FF OFF server last night. I would hate to leave the ego community, but the new changes to the servers is a disastrous move. I along with other players will be looking for new servers to play on due to the changes.
 
you can't please everyone...Thanks for taking the time to come voice your opinion.
Things will change and grow with expansion and if it works or not. Just give it time, you have enjoyed the servers up till now, so see how it pans out, nothing is set in stone.
 
At this time, we are updating the rotation server to allow RTV of almost every map that we have every had.

Also, dust is being updated as we speak to allow for a better gaming environment.
