Battlefield 1943

Battlefield 1943 is basically a WW2 FPS shooter created from the Battlefield franchise,(Which most of have played, or are familiar with their games) with the good old tanks, planes, boats, and infantry of course
It uses the same engine as their Bad Company game so the graphics have been *enhanced* from old Battlefield 1942.
I enjoy WW2 games, so I will more than likely check this out.
Rumored price is to be $15 and will be released this summer SUPPOSEDLY(Just like they said to Battlefield Heroes LAST YEAR)
Anyways, just wondering what you guys think about it

A PC version of the title is scheduled for release this September, presumably with the same $15 price tag.

To get or not to get is the question. On one hand I can get it on the Xbox 360 where I more friends to play with, but I can wait for the PC version which will be better with less friends.

No, its a new rebuilt game.
Since EA is now on Steam, I just hope we will be able to purchase BF1943 from Steam since its a $15 downloadable game.

Meh, like all engines, it has its limitations. I just find it as an improvement over the GEOmod engine that they used in the Red Faction games for consoles. THAT was a great engine way before its time.
